PsycHacks is currently one of my favorite channels on YouTube. In these two videos Dr. Orion Taraban covers a topic which I have been trying to get across to people for decades, which is that the diagnosis and perception of mental illness has been insidiously subverted by corporatists and pharmaceutical companies for the purposes of creating drug delivery enterprises to the tune of billions, if not trillions a year. The drugs these companies manufacture are anesthetizing and numb one to the source of their being, much in the same way pain killers lower one’s receptivity to the source of their pain. It’s never too late to wake the fuck up.
